Restoration Department
The Restoration Department of the National Museum of Art of Moldova is responsible for the restoration and research of the museum's heritage, as well as other cultural objects within the national movable heritage. It comprises specialized laboratories:
- Oil and Tempera Painting Laboratory – Restoration of oil and tempera paintings.
- Graphic Arts Laboratory – Restoration of graphic works.
- Sculpture, Ceramics, and Glass Laboratory – Restoration of sculptures made from stone, bronze, wood, and metal, as well as works made from ceramics and glass.
- Textiles Laboratory – Restoration of textile works.
