The Solo Exhibition of Artist Dalina Bădescu – “Luxe, Calme et Volupté”
Dalina Bădescu, born in Craiova, currently lives and works in Bucharest. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Bucharest, and pursued doctoral studies at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture in Bucharest. She is an art historian, painter, and Full Member of the Union of Visual Artists of Romania, Bucharest Painting Branch.
Since 2016, she has organized several solo exhibitions at: the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Bucharest; the Prahova County Art Museum in Ploiești; the Apostu Center for Contemporary Art in Bacău; the Museum of Comparative Art in Sângeorz-Băi; the Pavel Șușară Museum of Modern and Comparative Art; the National Museum of Romanian Literature in Bucharest; Octav Băncilă Art Gallery in Iași; the Museum of Art of the Baia Mare Artistic Colony, and others.
The artist also participates in group exhibitions, biennials, graphic projects, visual identity projects and curatorial initiatives.
Works by Dalina Bădescu are included in international public collections such as: the Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul, South Korea; the Museum of Graphic Art in Tokyo, Japan; as well as in national public collections including: the Museum of Contemporary Art in Galați; the Museum of Art in Baia Mare; the National Museum of Romanian Literature in Bucharest; the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant; the Ion Ionescu Quintus Art Museum in Prahova; the George Apostu Center for Contemporary Art in Bacău; the Museum of Comparative Art in Sângeorz-Băi; the Pavel Șușară Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, as well as private collections.
