Starting June 17, 2025, the National Art Museum of Moldova launches the Summer School – Art, Color, Emotion, an interactive program designed for children aged 8 to 12, held within the museum, surrounded by the masterpieces from the permanent exhibitions.
What awaits the participants?
A series of creative workshops and engaging lessons, conducted in the museum’s exhibition halls, where art comes to life in a fun and educational way. Through play, stories, and hands-on activities, children will learn to observe, create, and understand the ideas and emotions conveyed through the artworks — as well as the stories behind them.
Program Schedule:
June 17 – Guided tour: What is a museum? What is art?
Workshop: The Charm of a Butterfly (watercolor, collage)
June 24 – Guided tour: What do colors tell us in art?
Workshop: The Chameleon of Colors (layering techniques)
July 1 – Artistic treasure hunt
Workshop: Kumomi Art (pastel, watercolor, ink)
July 8 – Guided tour: Emotions through Art
Workshop: Starfish (stencil and sponge painting)
July 15 – Musical colors
Workshop: Portrait inspired by Arcimboldo (fruit and vegetable collage)
Children are invited every Tuesday at 10:00 AM to take part in an artistic adventure that blends museum education with creative workshops. Learning through guided discussions and hands-on activities will make each session a unique and memorable experience.
