ECO - Drawing, or how to teach adults to respect nature

June, 1 - The National Museum of Art of Moldova celebrates International Children's Day through art.

In April, the museum launched the national contest of drawings made by children with the title "ECO - Drawing, or how to teach adults to respect nature", which was attended by 139 students, of which were registered in the contest 86 drawings from the primary cycle and 53 drawings from the gymnasium cycle. The condition of participation was that these children should not be affiliated to a school with an art profile. The goal is to give children the right to awareness and choice for a healthier life. Through this competition, the museum wants to transmit the love for art and nature, the capitalization of knowledge and the sustainable management of resources.
The drawings were judged by a jury with the following composition: Tudor Zbârnea - General Director of the National Museum of Art of Moldova - President of the jury, Florina Breazu - Vice President of the Union of Fine Artists of Moldova, Polina Kolomeeț - Deputy Director of MNAM Heritage, Lucia Postica - MNAM deputy director, Arina Gorobeț - MNAM restorer.
